After dark in a busy city provides opportunities for photographers to capture an all together different view, one where the darkness is broken by bright light, often of intense colour. Most camera’s can operate in low light today, but using a tripod allows for a longer exposure, allowing the camera to render all the details in glorious colour that purely hand held would not deliver the same results. This is the case with this image I took of St Pauls, looking across the Thames from South Bank.
It was good to get a sense of the post lockdown atmosphere returning to the outdoor spaces along South Bank and capture a few hand held images along the way.
