I took a few hours out on the bike, primarily to clear my head, and enjoyed riding some of Kent’s finest back roads and eventually ended up in Folkestone.
Whilst siting on a wall looking over Sandy Sands bay I saw a young photographer using a medium format camera, and as you do, I asked her about her camera and we started a conversation where I learned that Jennah was over in the UK from China completing a degree course in Photography in London. During this she asked if she could take my picture! It was a pleasant change being in front of a camera for a change!
Leaving Folkestone I headed up Stone Street to Farthing Common just in time to catch the sunset, although a couple of curious calves photobombed it !!
My camera, Canon EOS M6 + EF 85/f.18 mounted using EF/M adapter
Jennah’s camera, Hasselblad 500C + Carl Zeiss Planar 80mm f/2.8 lens. I don’t know about the film, but as part of her uni program she was doing her own processing.
