We escaped for a couple of nights to the north Kent coast, staying at the Edgecliff Boutique B&B (now not a B&B as it's been sold and is now a private residence) perched on the cliffs at Birchington on the Isle Of Thanet. Neil and Marilyn are the perfect hosts welcoming us into there amazing home, a modern house with a striking twist – the back of the house has had a grand extension which is all glass and steel and looks out to sea!
With an uninterrupted 180 degree view from the lounge and bedroom making it just perfect for a relaxing weekend, even with Storm Arwen providing drama and dramatic scenes!
With almost immediate access to the Kent Coastal path allowed us walks to Minnis Bay, Margate, and a visit to the Turner Gallery completed our requirements for a chilled weekend!
